“STEM Armenia | November 2025” Contest

Contest Terms

1. The first round of the November 2025 “STEM Armenia” contest will take place on Sunday, 30 November. Six critical thinking tasks must be solved within six hours.

2. The contest is open to all students aged 13 to 17 who study in public schools or vocational educational institutions in Armenia. Persons over 18 years of age can only participate only if they have not yet graduated from public or secondary vocational schools. Participation is free and pre-registration is not required, but is recommended.

3. The tasks will be published on the STEMArmenia.org platform at 09:00 on 30 November. Solutions must be submitted via the web form on the STEMArmenia.org website.

4. A committee consisting of three members of the NGO STEM Armenia and possibly one member of the sponsoring organization will judge the contest.

5. The contest will be considered void if fewer than ten entries are submitted.

6. If there are multiple entries from the same household, only the first one will be considered.

7. The contest committee reserves the right to disqualify any entry that shows obvious signs of unfair competition.

8. Up to ten winners will be selected by the contest committee in the first round, based on the total number of points. In the case of a tie, the winner will be the person who submitted their entry first.

9. The entries from Yerevan and the regions will be judged separately, with up to five winning entries from each. However, exceptions are possible in special cases.

10. The names of the winners of the first round will be published on STEMArmenia.org on 3 December.

11. The winners of the first round advance to the second and final round, where they must prepare a presentation or a video. The topic will be announced after the first round.

12. The presentations and videos will be published on STEMArmenia.org and three of the best ones will be selected by the contest committee as the winners of the contest.

13. The decisions of the contest committee are final and not subject to appeal.

14. The three winners of the contest will be awarded gift cards worth 50 thousand drams to the “Zangak” bookstore.
