The latest national contest “STEM ARMENIA | February 2025” was held on the platform STEMArmenia.org, in which more than sixty students aged 13-18 from different regions of Armenia participated in an online format. This two-stage competition once again demonstrated the impressive talent and creative abilities of Armenian students. The competition is free and open to everyone.
The first round, consisting of three critical thinking tasks to be completed within 6 hours, took place on February 9. The goal of this round was to test the participants’ analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Most of the participants performed well, and the eleven highest-scoring participants advanced to the second round. Notibly, five participants received the maximum score of 11.
In the second round, participants had a unique challenge: to create a computer demonstration, choosing one of the topics below:
- Quantum Computer
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence
- Cryptocurrency
This task not only tested the technical and research skills of the participants, but also encouraged them to delve into the most advanced areas of modern science and technology. The three participants who created the most meaningful and engaging presentations, and as a result, earned the highest total points from the first and second rounds, were selected as the winners of the competition.
